At work we have a kind of English language classes each Friday. There are typically only 4 or 5 of us, students, and Jenny, our teacher. She usually records our lessons but uploads them not often so only today I’ve had an experience listening to myself speaking during these lessons. To be honest I was soo disappointed – even the faintest illusion about my accent getting better has been shattered. All consonants are so, hmm, Russian. And the biggest problem is that I have no idea how to improve my pronunciation.
Reading a book about Geralt and playing the Witcher 3 at the same time, rather fun to compare Sapkowski’s style with style of CD project red writers (have to say that the styles are really close). So far the game is okay but the number of choices in dialogs could’ve been higher – I don’t like when you have only two ways out of a situation.
