A couple of narcissistic photos from the celebration of Canada Day:

We had never seen such a crowd here before, but for the special occasion people found all red clothing they’d been keeping and gathered in the downtown or in Harris Park

The main event of the evening should have become fireworks and, jumping a bit forward, that was really spectacular. Before fireworks we had some time to got ourselves familiar with American and Canadian popular old music. Our background is, obviously, very different so it was a great way to learn a lot of new stuff (hadn’t heard of “Sweet Caroline” before, for example and seems that it’s one of the most widely-known songs here).
